Hearts Through History 2nd Annual Scholarship Fundraiser

Come join the fun! Hearts Through History is holding its 2nd Annual Fundraiser to raise money for the Scholarship for National Drawing. 31 days - 31 prizes. Win a critique, writing craft books, romance books, gift cards, and much more.

Authors offering to do critiques include Shari Anton, Denise Pattison, Michele Ann Young, Anna Kathryn Lanier, Jan Kenny, Paty Jager, Micheale Shelton, Wendy Gray, Jolie Mathis, Tracy Garrett, Marica James, and Hanna Rhys-Barns. Editors offering critiques include Courtney Hoffman and Leigh Collett.

Starting October 1 and running through October 31, we will draw one ticket a day for a daily prize. Donations for tickets may be made through Paypal or by sending a check to HHRW Treasurer Vicki Law. As soon as the donation has been received, you will be assigned ticket numbers. The numbers will be sent to you.

Tickets will be placed in a box by Melinda Porter, who will draw the daily winner. Winners will be announced on the HHRWGen loop and emailed privately.

Donations for tickets are as follows:

  • 7 for $10
  • 13 for $15
  • 17 for $20

To donate by check, make check out to HHRW and send to Vicki Law at the address below. Please specify "Scholarship Fundraiser" on your check and make sure it reaches Vicki as soon as possible so you'll be in the drawing from the beginning. Late entries will be accepted.

Money raised will pay an HHRW member's Registration Fees for the 2008 RWA National Conference in San Francisco. Transportation, hotel, and food expenses will be the responsibility of the winner. The Scholarship drawing is separate from the fundraiser and does not cost anything to enter. It is open only to HHRW members at the time of the drawing. Information about how to enter the Scholarship Drawing will be forthcoming.
